What data we collect and why
Mailing list signups
When you sign up for our mailing list, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We use this information only to send you launch announcements and newsletters about the Global Printshop Directory. We will never share, sell, or rent your information to third parties.
Feedback survey responses
When you complete our feedback survey, we collect your survey responses and, if you choose to provide it, your email address and a brief description of what you do. This information is used solely to improve the directory. Survey responses are reviewed only by the Abet Editions team. We will never share, sell, or rent your information to third parties.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how people use this site. Plausible is cookieless and privacy-respecting by design — it does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and does not track you across websites. No personal information is collected or stored through our analytics.
Information you do not provide
We do not collect payment information, location data, device identifiers, or any sensitive personal data. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tools.
How long we keep your data
We retain mailing list data for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you, and your data will be deleted promptly.
We retain survey responses indefinitely in aggregate form for research purposes, but we will delete any personally identifiable information from survey responses upon request.
Your rights
Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data — we will honour any deletion request promptly
- Withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing from our mailing list
- Object to our processing of your data
European Union or UK (GDPR): You have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is consent — you provide your information voluntarily and can withdraw consent at any time.
California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information, ever.
Brazil (LGPD): You have rights equivalent to those described above under Brazilian data protection law. Our processing is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Canada (PIPEDA): We collect only the minimum data necessary for the stated purposes and retain it only as long as needed.

We have chosen these services specifically because they have strong privacy practices. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising technology.

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Plausible Analytics operates without cookies. We may use essential technical cookies required for the site to function — these do not collect personal information and do not require consent.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify mailing list subscribers by email.
